FREDERIQUE CONSTANT

The legacy of Frederique Constant watches began in 1904, when Frederique Schreiner met Constant Stas.  Together, these two men formed a partnership that would result in 100 years of luxury watchmaking.  The partnership flourished and continues to thrive under the leadership of Peter Stras, who is a fourth generation descendant of Constant Stas.  Throughout the last century, the company has been revamped multiple times.  However, it continues to produce quality Frederique Constant watches for consumers around the globe.  The company was overhauled into its current form in 1988 by Aletta Bax and Peter Stas, who introduced their first collection in 1992.

The Frederique Constant Legacy

In the last decade, Frederique Constant watches have continued to be of the highest quality.  With its headquarters in Geneva, the company is still a thriving part of the renowned Swiss watchmaking empire.  In 2006, Frederique Constant moved into a new manufacturing facility that is 3,200 square meters and employs 70 workers.  The majority of Frederique Constant watches are manufactured in this facility.

The Frederique Constant slogan is “live your passion.”  This passion has continued to impact the company, not only in terms of the continued production of its watches, but also in giving back to the community.  The company participates in the “Only Watch” auction, which is annual event designed to raise money for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy research.  Each year, the company presents a unique Frederique Constant watch that is auctioned off for funds that support the research.  In 2007, the company presented an exceptional watch that included a Zerodur Balance Wheel and a Silicium Escapement Wheel, which are two of the most revolutionary and cutting edge technologies in watchmaking today.
